No. 2 – EDGE Chase Young

As if Sunday’s game wasn’t already rife with storylines, here’s another one: Washington Football Team star rookie Chase Young “wants Tom”, eager to face off against Hall of Fame quarterback. Will he soon regret his wish?

Here’s another one: Washington Football Team star rookie Chase Young goes up against the best rookie offensive tackle in the league, Tristan Wirfs. Who will emerge victorious?

I’m sure you could point out more. The point is, Chase Young is attracting the headlines this week, and that shouldn’t change during the game. He has a very important duty to generate pressure against Wirfs, who’s been stellar in his first year with Tampa Bay, but beyond that, Young is an emotional leader for this team.

It’ll be important for Young to maintain a balance as he relishes the opportunity to play against Brady. Brady has the ability to dishearten young players early. But it’ll be up to Young to keep his team energized, focused, and in the hunt.
