Final Thoughts

The loss on Sunday was almost a victory, but the Washington Football Team continues to reside all alone in first place in the NFC East division.  It’s true that the Washington Football Team is 6-8.  It’s also true that they have played like winners in recent weeks and a place in the playoffs draws closer each day.

This Washington team puts up a fight like no other.  Just ask Seattle.  Any team playing the WFT the rest of this season and in the playoffs (if it happens) will come to learn that Washington will leave them bruised and battered.

A Washington victory on Sunday and a New York Giants loss will hand a division title to the team in Ashburn.  Five weeks ago, such talk was not possible, and now this team is on the verge of something special.
