Score prediction

Washington is on a roll, but this may be one of their toughest matchups of the four-game stretch. As daunting as the 11-0 Steelers and their defense were, the Seahawks are a better-rounded team that is rounding into form with everyone starting to get healthy.

Additionally, Pete Carroll has been a very good coach since returning to the NFL to take command of the Seahawks. He will have his team focused for this game, as they are tied with the Rams in a tough divisional race and need to win every game they can to make the playoffs.

And with a matchup looming against the Rams, they can’t afford to lose, as they would miss an opportunity to set up a virtual winner-take-all game for the division title in Week 16.

Washington is also in a similar boat. They’re trying to claw their way into the playoffs and will have to stave off heavy competition from the Giants to hold onto that final spot. Ron Rivera, Scott Turner, and Jack Del Rio will have their players ready to play in this one, but given the injuries the team has on offense, it’s fair to wonder if they can keep pace with Seattle.

Unfortunately, it looks like this may be the end of the winning streak for Washington. They could certainly keep this close, but at some point, their offense is going to cost them a game if they don’t make improvements.

And with some key injuries on that side of the ball, it seems likely that the Seahawks will find a way to outdo Washington — unless the defense can deliver a game like the on they had against the 49ers.
