1. The Reality Is, Trent Williams is the best tackle this defensive line will face all season.

Trent Williams is playing at an extremely high level this season and will obviously have a little extra motivation to stick it to the organization that he believes wronged him over the last couple of seasons.

Though watching Chase Young battle the Silverback all game might be entertaining, Jack Del Rio should work to get both Chase Young and Montez Sweat many reps against 49ers not named Trent Williams.

Utilizing stunts, rotating who’s going against the weak side, and even trying personnel groupings with either Young or Sweat playing on the interior would all be meaningful ways to limit Trent Williams’ ability to thwart the pass rush and wear down any single defender.

My Prediction: Young will come close to demanding that Trent Williams be his responsibility all game, and Del Rio will largely honor that request, but look for a few key situations where they move Young away from Williams.

Washington fans should take a few opportunities to lock in and simply watch these two elite players battle during this game.
