Week 14 Analysis and Prediction

Week 14: Washington vs. San Francisco

  • Site: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, AZ
  • Time: Sunday, 12/13, 4:25pm EST

Traveling across the country on an unexpected short week after upsetting the Steelers could prove to be something of a challenge.  Facing a wounded San Francisco team could help Washington, but the 49ers are still battling for a wild card berth.  This will not be an easy task for Washington, but they have a realistic chance in this game.  Will the Burgundy and Gold use this game as revenge against last year’s debacle against the 49ers?

Washington is heading to the desert with their heads held high amidst a three-game winning streak.  The Washington Football Team has obviously played well as of late, but this game will be another tough task as they continue on a journey that could end with a division title.

My prediction? Washington keeps it close in first 30 minutes and surges in the second half, but a late rally by the 49ers is too much for the visiting team.

Players who will shine on Sunday include Terry McLaurin, Logan Thomas, Montez Sweat, and Kendall Fuller.

Prediction:  49ers 20,  Washington 16

Personal Record: 5-7
