2. Bring a creative offensive game plan

Scott Turner is in his first season as a full-time offensive coordinator. There have been highs and lows throughout the year.

However, Scott Turner is beginning to get his offense into a rhythm with Alex Smith. His offense seems to be a perfect marriage with Smith and his strength: A quick passing game.

Also, Antonio Gibson is starting to come into his own. And in the last few weeks, Scott Turner has shown creativity with the way he has used Logan Thomas. He is using Thomas quarterback background to his advantage.

More from Riggo's Rag

Turner called the Dallas Cowboys game like it was a must-win game, which it was. Washington will need more of that Scott Turner offense. Throw the entire playbook at the Pittsburgh Steelers. Be creative. The past few weeks have been good for Scott Turner’s offense, and you can see the improvement.

However, the Steelers’ defense is much better than the Bengals, Cowboys, and Lions defense. Much better. In fact, it is probably the best defense in the NFL.

The Steelers game will be a game where Turner shows just how good he is. The best offensive coordinators can scheme up a plan against almost any defense. Despite a talent-deficient offense against an elite defense, Turner has to overcome that with creativity.

More gadget plays with Thomas, more fumblerooskis (maybe), and any other plays deep in the depths of Turner’s playbook. Throw the kitchen sink at the Steelers. And of course keep a steady dose of Terry McLaurin, as should be the case every week. Get creative, Scott Turner.
