A look back and look ahead for the Washington Football Team in Weeks 10 and 11.

Before we get to the grades for Week 10, the sudden change needs an explanation.  We will no longer feature the “clunkers” after a loss, but the awarding of game balls will continue when the WFT is victorious.

Frankly, talking about a loss and pointing fingers at individual players was not a fun article to produce each week.  There is a time and place to be brutally honest, but the “clunkers” will now morph to what we see today.

This new feature – the grades and prediction – will become a new weekly standard during the season from yours truly.  As many of you know, I am one of the long time bloggers at BGO (Burgundy and Gold Obsession) and they will be closing their doors following the final game of this season.  This feature was always a part of the in-season blog there (since 2010) and now we move most of the elements of it here to Riggo’s Rag. With all of that in mind, let’s jump right in.

Welcome to our look back at the Lions game and the weekly prediction for the next game – this week it is the Bengals at home.  Here we are once again.  Another loss to chew on and it feels like a weekly routine that is all too familiar to us.

Losing a heartbreaker to the Lions seemed just as difficult as the first Giants game a few weeks ago.  Talk of the playoffs or a division title is nothing but fool’s gold.  We’re not going to cheer for losses or hope for a better draft position, but it is understood that some fans would like to see that happen now.

The year 2020 is insane.  Just plain old cranky and crazy.  Today, we bring you the latest set of grades and we’ll see how the WFT fared against the Lions.  We’ll also take a look at this Sunday’s game against the Bengals.

We’re not sure what the rest of 2020 will bring.  At least it is late November now and the holiday season is knocking on the door.  On the next page, you will find the grades, evaluations, commentary, and a prediction for the next game.  Goodbye to the “clunkers” and hello to this new change.  Let’s get right to the grades and predictions for this week.
