Washington Football Team Stud: WR Terry McLaurin

Almost every week of the season, Terry McLaurin has been listed as a stud. He deserves it and once again proved why he is the future of Washington’s offense on Sunday.

Against the Giants, McLaurin was a big-time playmaker despite seeing a ton of attention from the Giants’ solid defense. He ended up catching seven passes and turned them into 115 yards and a touchdown.

The touchdown was a thing of beauty for McLaurin and it showed everything that it so great about him as a player. He caught a ball from Alex Smith in traffic, fought through contact, turned upfield, and used his speed to get away from the defenders. What should’ve been a miraculous catch fit into a tight window became a 68-yard TD.

Here’s a look at the play, per the NFL’s official Twitter account.

There aren’t enough good things to say about McLaurin. He’s a phenomenal player, a new team captain, and he is on track toward being one of the NFL’s best receivers. He will be a stud every week and it’s plays like this that help remind us why he is one.
