Secondary Studs

We’ve named five studs, but in truth, this game had way too many positive performers to count. In a welcome change, Washington’s studs comfortably outnumbered their duds, and we’ve got plenty of secondary studs to recognize below. Here are some more names who deserve recognition for their play in Week 7:

  • Kyle Allen
  • J.D. McKissic
  • Cam Sims
  • The offensive line
  • Tim Settle
  • Jonathan Allen
  • Chase Young
  • Ryan Kerrigan
  • Kevin Pierre-Louis
  • Ronald Darby
  • Kendall Fuller
  • Deshazor Everett
  • Landon Collins
  • Tress Way

The Washington Football Team now moves into their bye week at 2-5, and they’ll have some extra time to prepare for the Detroit Lions and the Cincinnati Bengals back-to-back. Both games are winnable, and if Washington triumphs in both, they can be 4-5 by Week 11, and back in the driver’s seat of the NFC East.

Next. Three takeaways from Washington's win over Dallas in Week 7. dark

Of course, it’s still worth discussing whether winning is the best thing for Washington right now. But if their performance was a reliable indicator against Dallas, they have more talent than they’re given credit for, and younger players are without a doubt developing quicker than expected. Whatever the case, the final nine games of this season are must-watch. Ron Rivera may have some fireworks left in his first season.
