Washington Football Team players deserving of game balls vs. Cowboys
Offensive Game Balls
RB Antonio Gibson
Antonio Gibson enjoyed his best game as a pro thus far. He produced 128 yards on 20 carries and one touchdown. He had an impressive 40-yard romp on a sweep that took him all the way to the Dallas 5-yard-line early in the first quarter. Gibson would continue to churn for positive yardage throughout the game and he was able to continually put the Dallas defense on its heels.
For his efforts on Sunday, Antonio Gibson is awarded the first offensive game ball.
TE Logan Thomas

Two weeks ago, Logan Thomas was struggling to make any kind of impact with the team and he was usually a focus of our clunker designation each week. What a difference from two weeks ago. For the second week in a row, Thomas has shined and he is making solid contributions to the offense. He was targeted four times on Sunday and caught all four passes for 60 yards and a touchdown. A couple of the catches were nothing short of phenomenal.
For his superb efforts against Dallas, Logan Thomas is awarded the second offensive game ball.
WR Terry McLaurin
Terry McLaurin continues to amaze week after week and it sure is nice to have a game ball to award his efforts. He produced seven catches for 90 yards on 11 targets and a touchdown against the Cowboys. This includes a 52-yard score after some intense taunting on the previous play from Dallas cornerback Trevon Diggs.
Bottom line – don’t make Terry mad. He can burn you quickly and the revenge could be astronomical. Just ask Diggs.
McLaurin is on pace for 98 receptions, 1,318 yards, and five touchdowns in 2020. Don’t be surprised if the touchdown totals increase substantially as the season goes along. For his efforts on Sunday, Terry McLaurin is awarded the third offensive game ball.
QB Kyle Allen
It wasn’t the flashiest of days for Kyle Allen, but he was solid and kept the offense moving for most of the contest. He managed a superb game and made no major mistakes. With two touchdowns, no interceptions, and a passer rating of 111, Allen enjoyed his first victory as a starter for the WFT.
Allen continues to improve each week and that can only benefit the Burgundy and Gold for the remainder of 2020. For his efforts on Sunday, Kyle Allen is awarded the fourth offensive game ball.
