Washington Football Team: Three keys to victory vs. Cowboys

3. Win the turnover battle

The Washington Football Team gives themselves a much better chance to win when they win the turnover battle.

A fumble returned touchdown for the Giants was the difference in the Week 5 game. Three Haskins interceptions against the Browns in Week 3 kept Washington from a victory.

In a game that features two quarterbacks that are prone to turnovers and a running back that leads the NFL in fumbles, it is crucial that Washington comes on top in that department. Washington has to limit the number of turnovers they are committing. Too often they put their defense in poor spots.

A few turnovers from the Washington defense could be beneficial as well. Putting your anemic offense in advantageous situations can put a putrid Dallas defense in a poor spot.

Win the turnover battle. It is a key almost every week for the Washington Football Team. It is especially important this week.
