Score prediction

Since Week 1, the Washington Football Team hasn’t given fans or analysts any reason to be optimistic about the season. There have been bright spots here and there, but for the most part, things haven’t gone to plan.

This matchup against the Giants could be just what this team needs to get back on track. They may not win, but if they can at least play hard, compete, and improve in the areas that they so direly need it (sustained offensive drives, coverage breakdowns, etc.) that will be a step in the right direction.

I think Washington can win this game. Ron Rivera is a far more experienced coach than Joe Judge and if he comes in with the proper plan and takes advantages of the Giants’ offensive weaknesses, Washington can mask their own offensive weaknesses to win.

And Brandon Scherff’s return will be huge for the team. He’ll strengthen the team’s offensive line which has been up and down this season, but will at least have a higher ceiling with him around.

Again, a win isn’t guaranteed, but it is possible. We’ll call for Washington to squeak out a win thanks to their defense, though their offense will still be a work in progress after this one.
