No. 5 – Antonio Gibson goes for over 150 total yards

Antonio Gibson has been a fairly blatant bright spot for the Washington Football Team through two weeks, and that’s not something they’re complaining about. There were questions over whether Gibson was the right pick at No. 66 early on — essentially being an extra late second-round selection.

But Gibson has already quieted the doubters, showcasing his multi-dimensional upside while producing for Washington’s offense.

Gibson’s production has increased with each passing game, from 44 total yards in Week 1, to 52 total yards in Week 2, to 60 yards in Week 3, then skyrocketing to 128 total yards in Week 4. Gibson also has a touchdown in each of the past three weeks, and he appears to be finding a rhythm.

The trend clearly demands that Gibson is in for another career day against the Rams, and with Washington making a switch from Dwayne Haskins to Kyle Allen at quarterback, Gibson may be relied upon more often to smoothen that transition. You heard it here first: Over 150 total yards for Gibson against the Rams’ suspect run defense.
