Tight Ends

Roster Locks: Logan Thomas, Marcus Baugh

This was a tough position to approach. You can never go completely off of who’s received first-team reps, because as we’ve seen, some teams like to rotate guys in and out, and some teams like to play with their cards close to the chest.

But with the Washington Football Team, it’s been pretty blatant who their top two tight ends are in 2020. Logan Thomas is far and away the No. 1 option, having worked directly with Dwayne Haskins for much of camp. The next highest? Former Panther and Ohio State Buckeyes undrafted free agent Marcus Baugh.

Baugh has had the most work with the first team aside from Thomas, and although he hasn’t yet caught a pass at the NFL level, the 25-year old seems to have at least earned himself a little security with his training camp performance. Now we just have to wait and see who, out of Jeremy Sprinkle, Hale Hentges, and Richard Rodgers gets kept beyond that.
