Wide Receivers

Roster Locks: Terry McLaurin, Steven Sims, Dontrelle Inman, Antonio Gandy-Golden

Antonio Gandy-Golden was close to not being a lock, for the sole reason that he suffered an apparent injury a couple days ago, and he’s been sitting out practices since then. Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera reiterated, however, that it wasn’t serious.

Thus, Gandy-Golden is a lock. As the team’s tallest secure target at 6-foot-4, 220, Gandy-Golden provides a different skill set that will be welcome on game days. Of course, veteran Dontrelle Inman is close behind, standing at 6-foot-3, 205, and he’s gained some chemistry with Dwayne Haskins since signing with the team in mid-August.

The first two receiver locks need no explanation. Terry McLaurin and Steven Sims both made promising strides as rookies last year, and they’ll be relied upon to help create a productive passing offense in 2020.
