Roster Locks: Landon Collins, Troy Apke, Sean Davis

These selections shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Landon Collins, Troy Apke, and Sean Davis are the locks at safety. Collins and Apke seem slated to start, while Davis should provide valuable depth, as well as the athletic makeup to thrive on special teams.

Deshazor Everett has been with the team since 2015, and while I don’t particularly expect that to change this year, there is a chance he gets let go in favor of a younger player like Jeremy Reaves or seventh-round rookie Kamren Curl. There doesn’t seem to be too much separation in that lower tier, so anything is possible.

All in all, we have 36 roster locks on the main part of the roster, and when adding in the special teams players, that bumps us up to 39 locks. Thus, the Washington Football Team will have 14 spots up for grabs this coming weekend. Some will be left open due to injuries, while others will be the spoils of tense competitions. It’s going to be an exciting offseason conclusion. Don’t miss it.
