Round 7

Small school prospects deserve love and attention as well.  They can have a positive impact, and if you are fortunate to find one of these hidden gems, it can be a huge bonus for the team.

Washington took a chance on such a prospect last year – James Madison University’s cornerback, Jimmy Moreland.  This fan-favorite had a very good rookie campaign as a reserve and hopes to build on his role in 2020.

With one more compensatory pick in the 2019 draft, the WFT chose Oklahoma St. pass-rushing specialist Jordan Brailford late in the final round.  He will receive an incomplete grade after missing 2019 with an injury, but Moreland saves the day with his solid play last year.
