Round 6

Alabama inside linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton was the next pick as the WFT continued to collect former Crimson Tide defensive players. An injury in his final season lowered Hamilton’s draft status a bit, but the front office knew they were getting a good player. He has been a key addition on defense and could see more playing time this season with Josh Harvey-Clemons opting out for 2020.

Later that summer in the supplemental draft, the WFT splurged in the sixth round and added Virginia Tech cornerback Adonis Alexander to the roster. He spent some time on the practice squad and with the Los Angeles Rams practice squad as well. The Hamilton pick grades out as a B-, but the splurge for Alexander lowers the mark in this round.
