Round 5

WFT had a pick in the latter stages of this round and they made it count in a very big way. A really huge way. The now unnamed team selected massive Virginia Tech defensive tackle Tim Settle.  Most analysts rated him as a late third-rounder and others saw him a fourth-round prospect. For the WFT to get the former Hokie late in the fifth round was a major steal.

Settle hasn’t put up big numbers since being selected, but he has provided solid depth as a relief player on the defensive line. He did contribute two sacks last season and has lost some weight recently, so look for him to have a greater impact in 2020.
