Practice Squad and Extras

Practice Squad

  • Bryce Love, RB – Protected
  • Steven Montez, QB – Protected
  • Thad Moss, TE – Protected
  • Danny Johnson, CB – Protected
  • Timon Parris, OT
  • Jared Norris, ILB
  • Cam Sims, WR
  • Ryan Bee, DE
  • Peyton Barber, RB
  • Jeremy Reaves, CB
  • Jordan Brailford, DE
  • Kamren Curl, FS
  • Caleb Wilson, TE
  • James Smith-Williams, DE
  • Michael Liedtke, OG
  • Darvin Kidsy, WR

Ron Rivera supposedly likes the potential of Bryce Love, but the running back room is full of talent. Steven Montez and Thad Moss are key players to protect from being sniped by another team.  Danny Johnson may have a future in the league and flashed potential in his first year.

Opting Out

  • Caleb Brantley, DE

Brantley makes a nice little sum of money to stay home in 2020, but he will return with the same contract that he currently works for in the present.

Injured Reserve, PUP, NFI

Harmon’s season is over and it is unlikely that Smith will play in 2020. Foster could return. His future status is unknown.

Commissioner’s Exempt List

  • Cody Latimer, WR

As mentioned earlier, Latimer is on the exempt list and he may not play in 2020.

Trying to predict the roster of 53 for the Washington Football Team is very difficult when the regular season is still more than six weeks away, but many of the players we listed today figure to be there in September. With no preseason games this year, this has been an exercise in cluelessness and frustration. Would it be any surprise if this roster prediction misses by ten players or more? We’ll have the answers in a few weeks.
