Round 3

Early in round three, the Redskins added Virginia offensive tackle Morgan Moses and he has been a solid lineman after a first year of learning and struggling. Since 2015, the former Cavalier has started 80 straight games and played through numerous nagging injuries.

Moses has struggled a bit with poor blocking and penalties at times over the last two seasons but is still a good right tackle. With a new regime in place, he could shine once again.

And now we come to the second part of the dreaded “DeMarcus Lawrence” trade. Nebraska offensive guard Spencer Long was the choice.

While Long’s time with the Redskins was just average at best, it was not a disaster.  Since 2018, he has been with the Jets and Bills. The grade is lowered by a factor of one and a half with this pick and the trade that produced it.
