The 2020 NFL Draft is over, and the Redskins’ training camp roster is already coming into focus.

The positions which the Washington Redskins drafted said a lot about their strategy, as did the positions they neglected to add talent at. With just eight selections, the Redskins couldn’t fill all their needs in one offseason, and so they had to pick and choose.

The Redskins operated in free agency so that picking and choosing in the 2020 NFL Draft wouldn’t hurt them. Their roster isn’t a strong one yet, but there’s at least a sense of competition all across the board, and at the positions which sat idle in the 2020 NFL Draft, there are players who could benefit from the confidence of the team.
