Picks 29-32

29. Tennessee Titans: OT Isaiah Wilson, Georgia. Dennis Kelly is a fine option to start at right tackle for the Titans. But they may want to find another tackle to have as a swing or push Kelly back into that swing tackle role.

Wilson is a massive blocker at 6-6, 350 pounds and he blasted open quite a few running lanes for D’Andre Swift at Georgia. He could do the same thing for Derrick Henry at the NFL level.

30. Green Bay Packers: WR Denzel Mims, Baylor. The Packers need a true No. 2 receiver across from Davante Adams. Devin Funchess was a fine “prove it” signing, but they need to capitalize on some of the upside in this receiver class here.

Denzel Mims is one of the more athletic receivers in this class. He has a big frame, an unbelievable catch radius, and speed that is good enough to make him a downfield threat at the next level. If he can become a better route runner, he should be a complete starter on the outside and a solid playmaker in Green Bay.

31. San Francisco 49ers: S Xavier McKinney, Alabama. This is a spot that teams looking to select Jordan Love could move up into. But for the time being, we’ll keep this pick with the 49ers since it’s unclear exactly which team might move up for Love.

The 49ers could use some safety depth or a potential starter to take over for Jimmie Ward, who returned to the team on a one-year, $5 million deal this offseason. McKinney is a do-it-all safety who should be a great centerfielder at the next level. He just slips because teams valued other positions more than safeties in this mock.

32: Kansas City Chiefs: CB Jeff Gladney, TCU. This is a pick that I’ve seen in a lot of different places over the course of the past week. That can only mean one thing. The Chiefs must be interested in Jeff Gladney!

Gladney is a tad undersized but he’s a physical playmaker with very good ball skills. He can play outside but also has the potential to be an elite slot option who could replace Kendall Fuller, who returned to the Redskins in free agency.
