OT – Tristan Wirfs, Andrew Thomas, Mekhi Becton, Jedrick Wills

Of all the positions on the 2020 NFL Draft all-rookie team, this was the easiest to put together. There are four offensive tackles who, by essential consensus, are ahead of the rest of the pack: Iowa’s Tristan Wirfs, Georgia’s Andrew Thomas, Louisville’s Mekhi Becton, and Alabama’s Jedrick Wills.

How you order these tackles is up to you; basically any order would be acceptable, as they all have cases to be the top tackle in the group. Wirfs is the elite athlete with the easiest upside to project. Thomas is the long, steady blindside protector whose reliability may end up being an elite trait. Becton is the looming behemoth who throws defenders around on tape, and Wills is the ruthless technician, whose process is almost robotic.

There’s no wrong choice at the top of this year’s tackle class, and the right choice is just as simple: All of them.
