DL – Derrick Brown, Javon Kinlaw, Neville Gallimore, A.J. Epenesa

Interior defensive line is one of the strongest positions in the NFL overall, and that’ll only become a more universal truth after this year’s draft. Derrick Brown, Javon Kinlaw, and Neville Gallimore are all explosive interior linemen who have starting skill sets at the next level. Gallimore is stout and powerful, Kinlaw is long and ferocious, and Brown is just an all-around monster.

Some may be surprised to see A.J. Epenesa listed as the fourth interior defensive lineman, as he’s commonly been referred to as an edge rusher. While it’s true that edge was his primary position in college, I think he projects best as a 3-4 defensive end, given his middling athleticism and his 6-foot-5, 275-pound frame. He could function as a line-edge hybrid in the NFL, but his primary fit should be on a 3-4 line.
