Defensive Line. Arizona Cardinals. Derrick Brown. 8. player. 32.

Ian: This one is pretty simple. The Arizona Cardinals need more talent up front on their defense, and Auburn’s Derrick Brown is arguably the best interior defensive lineman to enter the 2020 NFL Draft.

Brown is a mammoth specimen, standing at 6-foot-5, 326, with arms over 34 inches long. He brings very good functional athleticism for a defensive lineman, possessing both short-area explosiveness and speed in open space, and couples that athleticism with overwhelming power.

For the Cardinals, Brown would provide a starter’s profile right away, and while he has some leveraging issues to settle before he can truly become a productive pass rusher from the interior, he has all the traits needed to eventually fill that role.
