18. player. 59. . Wide Receiver. Miami Dolphins. Justin Jefferson

Ian: If you’re a regular reader, you know that Justin Jefferson is one of my favorite receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft. He was the receiver I mocked to the Redskins at No. 18 in my full-NFL two-round mock draft a few weeks ago. He’s a very solid target in a trade back.

If there was a receiver to challenge the 2020 NFL Draft’s top trio of CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, and Henry Ruggs, it would be Jefferson. Jefferson simply checks all the boxes, possessing athleticism, route running nuance, contested catch ability, in-air body control, and dynamism after the catch as well.

Jefferson was a production machine at LSU, particularly in 2019 when Joe Burrow had his historic season, and for the Dolphins, he’d be an immediate No. 2 threat beside DeVante Parker. Jefferson has the traits to be a young quarterback’s best friend, and he should be going in this mid-to-late first-round range in late April.
