Does culture lead to success?

Success in the NFL is measured by wins and losses. But predicting success is nearly impossible. In a league of parity, the only constant of the past two decades has been the success of the Patriots and the despair of our Redskins.

But fear not, everything runs in cycles. There was once a time when the Patriots were the bottom feeders of the NFL, and the Redskins were the gold standard.

The killer B’s of the Patriots are nearing their end, and the Patriots demise is imminent. The bigger question is this: Will the Ron Rivera era bring the Redskins back to prominence? It’s impossible to know right now, but rest assured, Ron Rivera was the right hire at the right time for a team desperately in need of a culture change.

In a bottom line business, success will be measured by wins, and that future is unknown. However, have no doubt that Rivera will restore respectability to this once-proud franchise and its fans.  There will be an identity, and coach Rivera will put this team in position to succeed with the atmosphere he creates. That’s all we can ask for as fans. The Ron Rivera Era has officially began!
