Offensive Line

None of the offensive linemen on this list were with the Redskins for very long and only one really saw time on the active roster. Nonetheless, they were with the Redskins at one point during their respective careers.

OL Demetrius Rhaney, Houston Roughnecks. Rhaney was signed by the Redskins amid the offensive line disaster of 2017 when so many of their starters were hurt. He served as a backup center for the team for the rest of that season and returned for the 2018 offseason. He was ultimately cut but returned for one week of action when more O-Line injuries cropped up for Washington.

OT John Kling, New York Guardians. Kling joined the Redskins in 2017 and some hoped that he could be the next Ty Nsekhe. With a massive 6-foot-8, 330-pound frame, Kling had the size of a tackle. He just needed the technique. Kling spent two offseasons with the ‘Skins but never quite developed as hoped.

More from Commanders News

OL Alex Balducci, Dallas Renegades. Balducci was added to the Redskins as practice squad depth and spent the 2017 season on that unit. He couldn’t win a spot on the team in 2018.

OL Salesi Uhatafe, Dallas Renegades. Uhatafe was one of the players the Redskins signed after the collapse of the AAF in 2019. He didn’t last long for the team.

OT Brian Wallace, St. Louis Battlehawks. The Redskins shuffled their offensive line a ridiculous amount during the 2019 offseason. Wallace came in during the summer but was cut very early on in the preseason.

OT Darius James, Dallas Renegades. James signed a futures contract with the Redskins in 2019 but was waived after the 2019 NFL Draft as the team looked to add other undrafted free agents.
