1. Redskins limit Saquon Barkley to 50 or fewer rushing yards

Barkley finally snapped out of a funk last week against the Miami Dolphins and looked like his old self, totaling 143 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns.

However, against the Redskins, I think he may regress a little bit.

Yes, the Redskins defensive front has had their share of issues defending against the run this year and just last week, they allowed Miles Sanders and Boston Scott to run wild. But this week, I think they’ll be motivated to take on one of the league’s best backs.

A few weeks ago when the Redskins beat the Panthers, they were able to limit the team to just 65 yards on the ground. And that came despite the fact that the Panthers have Christian McCaffrey, arguably the best running back in the league. If they’re motivated, they certainly can contain top runners.

This coupled with the fact that the Redskins secondary is in disrepair makes me believe the ‘Skins will sell out to stop the run. And if that happens, Barkley may have trouble finding room on the ground, especially if his ankle injury still isn’t completely healed. If he logs less than 50 rushing yards, that would be a massive win for Washington.
