Stud No. 3 – Redskins DL Matt Ioannidis

Matt Ioannidis, the Redskins 2019 sack leader, didn’t let up in Week 14.

The Temple product logged another sack against the Green Bay Packers, establishing himself as a stout interior presence in the pass rushing department. He’s now up to 8.5 sacks on the year. It’s a career high for him, and if he keeps it up, he could hit double digits. As an interior lineman, that’s a very impressive feat.

Ioannidis gets recognition for being a near-elite pass rushing lineman, but he’s developed into a complete player this season, compounding the leap he took last year. And with Ioannidis set to turn 26 years old in January, he’s only just entering his prime.
