Score Prediction

This one could go either way. It really depends on how Haskins fares in his second start. The Jets defense’s weakness is the passing game, so the Redskins have an opportunity to make some much-needed progress in this game. The question is, will they capitalize on the chance?

I don’t expect Bill Callahan to stray from his preferred philosophy, unfortunately. He’s set in his ways, and is unwilling to adapt. Thus, the Redskins will switch too late to a passing-oriented attack, and allow the Jets to come in and beat them in a relatively low-scoring affair. Dwayne Haskins will show more incremental growth, but the coaching staff isn’t in a position to maximize his production yet.

Score Prediction: WAS 16, NYJ 19
