player. 30. . Cornerback. New York Jets. Jeffrey Okudah. 3

The New York Jets might’ve been your 2018 pick ’em champ’s sleeper playoff team in 2019, but now, one’s picking them to do anything but potentially fire Adam Gase in year one.

The 2019 Jets have been a dumpster fire nearly equivalent to Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen with the Redskins, and in 2020, almost any position is on the table with a top five draft selection. On offense, the Jets are anemic, and on defense, bloated salaries are yielding underwhelming results.

With the No. 3 pick in this mock, the Jets select Jeffrey Okudah, a cornerback who’s quickly risen to the top of his position in 2019. Okudah is just the latest in a long line of Ohio State cornerbacks to make the leap, and for New York, he’ll provide a stunning athletic profile, swagger, and newly-developed ball skills. Okudah is a complete cornerback with sky-high potential, and he’ll help give the Jets talent at a razor thin position group.
