Redskins vs. Bills preview: Matchups, score prediction, and more
By Ian Cummings
Score Predictions
While the Bills have had some close games against uninspiring opponents this year, I think they should win this one with a fair amount of ease. Their defense is No. 3 in total yardage allowed this year, and they have more than enough talent on all three levels to snuff out a Redskins offense that is less talented, and not well-coached.
I think the Redskins end their touchdown drought in this game, but that doesn’t mean much in regards to their chances of winning. Touchdowns are fairly volatile statistics, and most of Washington’s touchdowns in the early weeks occurred in garbage time, when the game was already all but over.
In this game, I see the Bills offense hitting a few big plays and surpassing their season average against a similarly inconsistent Redskins defense, and I see Buffalo’s defense limiting Washington’s offense to enough short drives to give their offense a chance to create a buffer on the scoreboard. Buffalo won’t win in a rout, but they’ll ride a strong mismatch to a sure victory.
My Score Prediction: BUF 27, WAS 13
Jacob’s Camenker’s Prediction: BUF 23, WAS 10
Miscellaneous Commenter: BUF 100, WAS 2
