2.  The Reality Is, Terry McLaurin is legit.

Scary Terry (or whatever new nickname he gets) is the first legitimate No. 1 receiver the Redskins have had since… Gary Clark?

Don’t get me wrong. DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon both had significant runs in Washington, but since they were playing together, there was never a clear-cut  No. 1 on the team. Teams were forced to play balanced looks against the Redskins and not prioritize one over the other in coverage.

But on this team, given his first five games, McLaurin is the obvious No. 1 receiver. And I think the 49ers will be the first team to actually shade coverage his direction. This is a massive compliment to a rookie receiver. And it may result in some wide-open looks for other members of the receiving core. but it will likely mean a more meager stat-line for McLaurin this week.

My Prediction: Terry McLaurin will log eight targets, five catches, 68 yards, and no scores.
