4. Redskins must get out to a fast start

This one is big. Getting out to a fast start against an inferior (or in this case equally as bad) opponent is critical. The Redskins got out to a good start just twice so far, the first half against the Eagles and the first quarter against the Patriots. That’s pretty much been it. They’ve gotten behind early and haven’t been able to recover. They are not built to play from behind.

Washington doesn’t have the game-changing players to score quickly and chip into a lead. The Redskins have only scored 25 points the last three weeks, two touchdowns coming after they were down 28-3 to Chicago. That’s why they must start fast against Miami and put the pressure on them.

The Dolphins are a very similar team to the Redskins as they have trouble playing from behind. In what is likely to be an ugly football game, the Redskins must take control of this game right out of the gate. If it is Miami that gets out to the fast start and Washington is again the team that is playing from behind, there is a good chance the ‘Skins lose this one.
