Score prediction

This game should be a win for the Redskins. The 2019 Dolphins aren’t really trying and they may be one of the worst teams in the NFL history — if not, the worst.

The Redskins are going to want to try a little harder than they have this season because of the coaching change. Often, teams that see a coach fired in midseason respond positively in the next game as the change re-energizes them. We’ll soon see if Callahan can get that done, but the outlook is positive.

Also, the Dolphins are simply a hapless team. They haven’t scored a second-half point this season and while both of their recent games were close at halftime, they can barely keep a 30-minute game close, let alone a 60-minute one.

I don’t think the Redskins are going to see a lot of victories from here on out. But this will be one of them. The Dolphins simply don’t want to win while the ‘Skins need a victory to save face. Expect them to get the win, though it remains to be seen if that will actually help them in the long run.
