Redskins Week 5 Reality Checks: The Patriots are coming

1. The Reality Is: Tom Brady will further expose the Redskins’ secondary.

The Redskins have a historically bad secondary when you measure results. They have some of the worst miscommunications and breakdowns I’ve ever seen. Brady and Belichick eat defensive mistakes for breakfast. This is a lethal combination destined to have me throwing my hands up in dismay while some Patriots receiver runs at three-fourths speed into the endzone with no Redskins on-screen. Redskins fans should hope it’s Josh Norman getting torched and not one of our younger cornerbacks who may be here on the roster next year.
