3. Redskins cannot let Dak Prescott have another big game passing

Dak Prescott had the best game of his young career as he took apart the Giants’ secondary. Prescott finished with 405 yards and four touchdowns to go with a perfect 158.3 passer rating as he seemed to hit every throw that he made. To complicate matters for Washington, he also has a plethora of weapons at his disposal.

Amari Cooper has been incredibly productive since coming over in a trade from the Raiders last year. Josh Norman must be ready if he shadows him and Landon Collins must make sure there are no breakdowns in coverage during the game.

Behind Cooper is former Green Bay Packer Randall Cobb and Michael Gallup, who had a monster Week 1. As if having three talented receivers wasn’t enough, he also has two talented tight ends in Blake Jarwin and the unretired Jason Witten. Plus, there’s what Ezekiel Elliott has to offer out of the backfield.

Carson Wentz had a big day against the Redskins’ secondary last week, hitting Desean Jackson on two deep balls and he routinely made third-down throws. Both Josh Norman and Quinton Dunbar (if he plays) must have better games this week, and the pass rush must get to Prescott. If the defense doesn’t step up and Prescott has another big game, the Redskins won’t win this game.
