Final Redskins 53-man roster projection before NFL roster cuts
The Washington Redskins are getting ready for NFL roster cuts. Here’s a look at one final 53-man roster projection for the team.
A lot can change with roster projections over the course of the season. And just about 28 hours ahead of official NFL roster cuts, the Redskins roster is looking as different as ever.
This year, the Redskins have a lot of questions about how they can construct their roster. Obviously, they have a bunch of players that are roster locks. But some of the key position battles (notably the wide receiver position) are mostly unsettled. There are a lot of players that could make the roster and it just depends on which player’s skill set the coaching staff prefers.
There are countless iterations of the final roster that could make sense. And in all likelihood, this projection won’t be perfect. There are always some surprise picks for the final roster and it is nearly impossible to get into the heads of coaches at this time of the year. Plus, the team could always foul things up a bit by claiming some other roster cuts off waivers.
Still, we’re going to give it our best shot. Here’s a look at a final 53-man roster projection for the Redskins starting, as always, with the quarterback position.
