Jeremy Sprinkle vs. Matt Flanagan

Don’t be surprised if the competition between these two tight ends is closer than some may think.  Jeremy Sprinkle is a superb blocker, but has done very little in the way of being a pass catching tight end.  The same can be said of second-year hopeful Matt Flanagan, a Rutgers University graduate who was granted another year of eligibility and transferred to the University of Pittsburgh for one final season.  At 6-foot-6, 260, Flanagan is slightly bigger than Sprinkle, but can the 2018 UDFA supplant the 2017 fifth-rounder from Arkansas?
