The Redskins need a player with pure receiving talent. Emanuel Hall is just that. The Missouri product averaged a ridiculous 20.8 yards per catch during his college career and has the big-play ability need to become a potential top receiver in the NFL.

Hall has good size at 6-2 and is an excellent athlete. He moves well, has deep speed, and was Drew Lock‘s favorite target when healthy. But, that was the catch.

Hall struggled to stay healthy during his collegiate career. He only played 10 games in a season once. There are some questions about his health and overall toughness and ability to play through injuries. He may be able to quell them via interviews, so if that’s cleared up, he could still easily go on Day 2.

On tape, Hall demonstrates the skills of a playmaking receiver. He will be able to go down the field and make plays. He could become a top weapon for Haskins and do a lot to transform the offense, as he would give them a receiver that doesn’t just rely on athleticism or size to be effective. He has both.

If Hall is on the board at the beginning of the third round, the team should strongly consider him. It’s possible that either Hakeem Butler or Kelvin Harmon could be on the board, too, so they could get attention. However, those players both could be off the board, so we’ll stick with Hall as our potential top choice for now.
