10. . Offensive Guard. Boston College. Chris Lindstrom. 23. player

The Texans got Deshaun Watson sacked 62 times last season. That’s bad. In fact, it’s tied for the fifth-most in NFL history. That can’t happen again, especially since Watson has already once torn his ACL at the NFL level.

Houston is going to upgrade their offensive line in the draft, and they may even trade up to do it. If they want one of the top left tackle candidates, a move into the top 15 could be possible. But in this mock, with no trades, they will remain at 23 and take the best one on the board.

Chris Lindstrom hasn’t gotten enough love during the draft process. He’s a do-it-all player at guard who has been well-coached at Boston College. He should come in and push either Senio Kelemete or Zach Fulton into a backup role immediately and further strengthen the interior line next to Nick Martin.

This will be just one of many offensive line picks the Texans may target in this draft class.

Other Texans Draft Options

OL Erik McCoy, Texas A&M. The Texans are desperate for offensive line help, so McCoy would demonstrate one of the other best blockers on the board.

OT Greg Little, Ole Miss. Another option on the offensive line, Little would qualify as more of an outside player, so he could help at tackle.
