2019 NFL Mock Draft 8.0: Redskins land top quarterback, Raiders make surprise pick
The Ravens lost Terrell Suggs this offseason. Here, they land his potential replacement, and it’s a steal.
Ferrell could have been a top-10 pick in last year’s draft, and he still could go in the top half of Round 1 this year. He just falls out of circumstance in this mock. Ferrell isn’t particularly athletic, but he has good movement skills, can function in space, and has a variety of pass rushing moves. Additionally, Ferrell has proven production (21 sacks) over the past two seasons.
Ferrell would have a chance to start right away for the Ravens and become a three-down player. By replacing Suggs, he would open up a chance for a rotation of players to replace the team’s other top departed edge rusher, Za’Darius Smith. So, this could be a smart pickup for the Ravens.

Other Ravens Draft Options
EDGE Montez Sweat, Mississippi State. The Ravens have always had a strong defense and they could opt to get a falling defender to plug a problem spot there.
WR Marquise Brown, Oklahoma. Brown could be a fit as a true deep threat in the mold of T.Y. Hilton.
WR D.K. Metcalf, Ole Miss. Metcalf has a lot of upside, but a lack of refinement may cause him to slip further than some may expect.
