Defensive Tackle. Clemson. Christian Wilkins. 19. player. 35.

The Tennessee Titans could use a boost on the defensive line. Even with Jurrell Casey, who’s growing older with every passing season, the Titans have room to generate more pressure, and room to make their front unit more effective.

Luckily for the Titans, Clemson’s Chrisitan Wilkins is still available at this pick, and he’s the best available interior lineman from the Tigers famous trio, even if he has his own fine tuning issues.

Wilkins, standing at 6-foot-4, 301, has a decent combination of size and athleticism. His short area quickness in the trenches, and his ability to flex through and around gaps is impressive. He’s a master at using leverage to win out in trench battles, and while his wingspan isn’t anything to write home about, he’s able to win in other ways.

By pairing Wilkins with Jurrell Casey, the Titans could form one of the better interior lineman duos in the NFL. Wilkins enters the NFL as an asset that’s trending up. If the Titans buy low, they could find themselves in a good situation fairly soon.
