The Redskins double-dip at another position, adding Keaton Sutherland to serve as a quality backup on the interior offensive line.

Even after adding Cody Ford with their first-round pick, the Redskins have little talent under contract at the guard position. They could re-sign Jonathan Cooper but they will still need to find another backup guard with upside. Sutherland would qualify.

Sutherland has good size (6-5, 315 pounds) and could be a solid run blocker at the next level. He had a solid showing at the East-West Shrine Game and a good career at Texas A&M. He has good technique and with good coaching, he could emerge as a starter eventually.

In the early seventh round, adding a player that can make the roster is always a good thing. Sutherland will be just that and provides value as a late-round pick.
