Devin Bush. 11. player. 56. . Linebacker. Michigan

Sometime in the next geologic epoch, the Cincinnati Bengals will find their defensive coordinator. And when they do, the next order of business will be simple: Get him a starting linebacker.

Mack Brown is off the board, but that’s okay. There are three linebackers at the top of the 2019 NFL Draft class who stand out amongst the rest. With Brown gone, only the two Devin’s remain. While Devin White has a number of quality traits to his own name, Michigan’s Devin Bush is the pick instead, at No. 11.

Bush is a bit small for a linebacker, by NFL standards, standing at 5-foot-11, 240. But Bush’s size becomes a secondary aspect of his game when one witnesses his speed, and the impact he provides across the entire field.

Bush’s sheer speed and tenacity gives him an edge over most, but his coverage instincts are also superb, and in a league where coverage linebackers are taking on increased importance, that’s the deal-breaker for Zac Taylor’s Bengals at this juncture.
