Picks 37-40

37. New York Giants: G Chris Lindstrom, Boston College

The Giants draft Will Hernandez in Round 2 last year and could pull the trigger on another guard to shore up the right side of their offensive line this year. Lindstrom was terrific at the Senior Bowl and showed very well in run blocking. He’s a well-rounded, well-coached player from Boston College and Dave Gettleman will surely be interested in adding him to protect Daniel Jones.

38. Jacksonville Jaguars: WR Parris Campbell, Ohio State

More from Commanders Draft News

This wasn’t intentional, but pairing Dwayne Haskins with his top receiving option seems like an excellent move. Campbell is coming off his best season at Ohio State in which he totaled 90 catches, 1,063 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns. He and Haskins should have chemistry immediately in Jacksonville and will do a lot to transform that offense which capsized last season under Blake Bortles and Cody Kessler.

39. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: DB Nasir Adderley, Delaware

The Buccaneers need some help in their secondary, as they struggled immensely against the pass last year. It would behoove them to add a talented player to pair with Justin Evans. Adderley has NFL bloodlines and was great at the Senior Bowl. On tape, he looks like a true playmaker and should be a top-50 pick. Grabbing him at this juncture is a sensible move.

40. Buffalo Bills: TE Noah Fant, Iowa

The Charles Clay experiment appears to be over in Buffalo. He was overtaken by Jason Croom on the depth chart at the end of last season. The Bills need to keep adding to the offense to give Josh Allen weapons to succeed, and Noah Fant is one of the best tight ends in this class. Fant had a terrific season at Iowa and could end up going in the first round. In fact, I had him mocked 21st overall to the Seahawks in my last mock, so this is more indicative of what his floor will be.
