No. 4 – Jonathan Allen reaches ten sacks on the season

Last week, Jonathan Allen improved his sack total on the year to 8.0. He needs just two more quarterback takedowns to break into double-digits, and join an esteemed group that includes J.J. Watt and Aaron Donald.

Allen’s emergence in 2018, as both a playmaker and a leader, was expected, but it’s come quicker than anyone could have hoped. Lately, Allen has been a dominant force on the offensive line, and in due time, he could live up to his draft billing and provide the Redskins with perennial All-Pro production.

For now, however, all Allen can do is put everything into this last game. The Alabama product will wreak havoc on Philadelphia’s interior. As Nick Foles drops back to pass at a high clip, Allen will too bring the quarterback down at an increased rate, and reach a coveted milestone in the process.
