3. Redskins must not let Derrick Henry have another big game

Derrick Henry has been unstoppable the last couple of weeks. Coming off a monster 238-yard performance on Thursday night football, he had 170 yards on 33 carries against the Giants. But, as good as he has been lately, he has had some subpar games this season. He can be very hot and cold as a runner. He is also running behind a very talented offensive line. This battle in the trenches will be one to watch.

The Redskins did an outstanding job of shutting down Leonard Fournette last week. That strong performance by the defense was much needed after a stretch of games where the unit as a whole did not play well. The defense will need another standout performance this week. They can and should as they have invested a ton of draft capital on the defensive side.

Daron Payne is shaping up to be a very well-rounded player and should have a big game. Marcus Mariota hasn’t thrown the ball that much the last couple weeks because they’ve run it so well he hasn’t had to. If the Redskins can bottle up Henry and not let the Titans establish the run, they will be in excellent shape to steal one on the road.
